Description

Most westerners may not be familiar with this poker game, but for Easterners it is the most popular card game.

It is a simple, skillful, and fascinating game. Something a bit like to play bridge.

This is a three players poker game in which the Declarer against two Defenders. The game goal is to be the first one who run all his cards off hand. To win the game, you need some good cards and card sense, a better plan, and may be a little bit luck. Try to run your cards quickly and prevent your opponent or opponents get hand to lead.

This poker game is played with a deck of 54 cards. First, Each player is dealt 17 cards (total 54 cards, the declarer will get the 3 left cards).

After dealing cards, The players take turns to bid score, pass, 1, 2 or 3. The player who bids the highest score will be the declarer, who will get the 3 left cards, the other two be defenders.

Declarer -- the player who bids the highest score.
Defenders -- opponents of declarer.

Rank (Lowest to Highest): 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, 2, black joker, red joker. (Spade, heart, diamond, club are the same).
Note: in bridge 2 is the lowest one, but in One against Two, 2 is the highest one (except jokers).

The Bidding
You can bid pass, if your cards are not so good; you can bid 3, if your cards are very good. Yes, you can bid 1 or 2. If no one bid higher score, the one who bid the highest score will be the declarer and gets the 3 left cards. The highest score will be the basic score for calculating player’s score in the end. For example, The highest score is 3, you are the declarer, if you win the game (you are the one who first run all your cards out hand), your score will be 3+3 = 6, the two opponents’s score will be -3. If you lose the game (one of the opponents be the one who first run all his cards out hand), your score will be -3+(-3) = -6, the two opponents’s score will be 3. So, the higher score you bid, if you win, you will get higher score; if you lose, you will lose more.

Rules of play
The declarer will lead first. The player can play a single card or a card set that allow the player play more cards when he get hand to lead and a card set is harder to be covered by opponents than a single card, other players take turns to play, they can pass (do not follow any cards) or cover with the same and higher card set or a bomb (four of a kind) or atomic bomb ( two jokers ).

Card Set Definition (that allow the player play more cards when he get hand to lead)
- - Single: one card
- - Pair: two cards with same value.
- - Three of a kind: three cards with same value.
- - Three with One: three cards with same value and one card with any other value.
- - Three with a pair: three cards with same value and two cards with some value.
- - Straight: at least FIVE cards or more than five cards.
- - Pair Straight: at least THREE pairs or more than three pairs.
- - Three Straight: TWO Three of a kind.
- - Three Straight with Two single: TWO Three of a kind with two single cards.
- - Three Straight with Two Pair: TWO Three of a kind with two single cards.
- - Bomb (Four of a kind): four cards with same value that can cover all card sets except Atomic Bomb.
- - Atomic Bomb: two jokers which forms the Atomic Bomb that can cover all card sets.

Tips:

Your cards can form a lot of different card set, you should make a plan and decide which card set to play, try to make your opponents can not cover your card set, that you can get hand again to lead next card set. The single or pair card set should be the easiest one to be covered by your opponents.
If you have Three of a kind, try to play Three and One or Three and a pair that will let you run more cards.
