To get started with GigaTribe you have to first create a profile.This means you have to chose a username and a password and than confirmed the link sent by e-mail.
Furthermore, you have to start building your network, and exchange files with your family, friends or associates.
GigaTribe is built on a peer-to-peer architecture (P2P). P2P that transforms your computer into a server that allows incoming call (connexions) from members in your network.This is direct connection.
Direct connection will only work if incoming calls to your mac are not blocked by a firewall or router. Ordinarily, you must configure these devices to accept incoming calls. If you do not know how, or are unable to configure your router (you may be trying to connect from work for example), GigaTribe will not work in direct connection mode.
